How do I apply for an open referral?

An open market referral is one that has been sent to your market without being directed to a specific agent, meaning that all agents who cover the target market are eligible to apply. Every agent who is eligible to work on the referral will be notified of the opportunity via email alerts and in-platform notifications.

To apply:

• Either click on the email instructions or the in platform notification to direct you to the referral.
• Or alternatively, you can find all market / open referral opportunities on your Dashboard screen on the Market Referrals tab.
• If you have been specifically invited to apply to a referral, then it will appear on your Dashboard under the My Referrals tab.
• Click on any referral that you are eligible to apply to, and click on the green“Apply for this referral” button on the top right hand side of the referral details section.
• You can negotiate with the sending agent over the commission percentage as well as messaging directly about the referral.
