I’m receiving notifications about referrals that I don’t want or I am no longer working on, why?
You will be notified of all referral opportunities in your market. Your market is defined by the location of the office that you are attached to and therefore the city that you are located in. While it may be the case that you personally don’t cover a particular part of the city, other agents in your office might, so as a member of that office you will also be notified. If you don’t want to work on a referral, simply don’t apply to work on it, or reject the offer - you are not obliged to accept any referrals and at all times have the choice on what to work on.
If you are receiving notifications about a referral that you once worked on and you are no longer actively working on it, make sure you have updated the referral accordingly. For instance, if a referral is no longer progressing but you haven’t deactivated it in the system, you will continue to receive notifications asking you to provide a status update. Simply navigate to the referral and mark it as no longer active to stop these notifications.
